Do you want to be a part of a ministry which takes place alongside the church? That’s the CCO. Our goal is to help congregations located near college and university campuses reach out with the gospel of Jesus Christ to students with grace, fellowship and encouragement during this formative time in their lives. You would play a key part in connecting students to local churches, that they might experience what it means to be a part of a church body. You would also have key opportunities to guide, energize and equip congregation members to reach out to the college students in their own community.
Fellowship groups, Bible studies, small groups, student leadership teams, community service projects, spring break and Christmas break mission trips are all building blocks of a ministry which develops a generation of dynamic Christian leaders. You can have an even longer-lasting impact by connecting college students to the broader church body through inviting them to worship services, teaching Sunday school classes and connecting them with mentors within the congregation.
