The application and placement process is for mutual discernment to see if God is calling for you to ministry with the CCO.
Once you have applied, here are the next steps:
1. Resume and Application Review
The recruiting department thoroughly reviews each resume and application received to determine whether or not the candidate will be invited to interview. The exceptional staff document is used as a reference.
2. Interview and Assessment (if candidate is granted an interview)
After an interview takes place, the accepted candidate is assessed by the director of recruiting and the leadership, using several criteria to help with position matching.
3. Position Matching
Partnership Coordinators receive profiles of accepted candidates and work to match them with available positions. Matching happens either immediately upon acceptance or through the Placement Preview Event (PPE). The PPE takes place in February (Friday before Jubilee) when not-yet-placed candidates meet personally with Partnership Representatives and learn more specifics about each position.
4. On-Site Interviews
Partnership Coordinators offer on-site interviews to candidates based on the match of their skill sets and giftedness to the needs of specific positions.
5. Offer Made and Placement Determined
If a good fit is found, Staff Directors will make position offers to candidates. The ability of a candidate to begin their work on campus prior to New Staff Training is subject to approval primarily based on their experience and support raising.
6. New Staff Training
NST will take place the summer following placement.
