How the partnership with Geneva College works

The Master of Arts in Higher Education program is designed to provide a vision for higher education that is driven by a consideration of foundational issues. It provides for the development of important professional skills and encourages academic excellence which is characterized by an integrated Christian perspective. If you are accepted into Geneva College’s program and satisfy the course requirements, you can complete the entire degree program during your tenure with the CCO by taking courses as a part-time student. The relevant content of this program, along with its convenient delivery style and subsidized cost, makes this degree program an extraordinary opportunity for you.

Admissions Requirements and Procedures
Perhaps the most important requirement for admission into the MA in Higher Education Program is a student’s desire to pursue a vocation in service to God in the college or university setting. We will also closely evaluate students’ academic accomplishments in an accredited college (minimum GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale); general preparation in pursuing a program in which biblical understanding is important; gifts, styles, and interests (through letters of recommendation); and, motivations for pursuing the degree (essay). The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is not required for admission. Your completed application and transcripts are due prior to completing the first course at New Staff Training.

Financial Information
CCO staff members benefit financially from this unique partnership because the cost is the same as that offered to Geneva College faculty and staff members.
