Roger Johnson, Director of Program Management for AIM Healthcare, an Ingenics company
CCO staff, 1992-95; 1997-2005 (Juniata College; Director of Recruiting and Process Improvement)
As a student and a staff person, the CCO gave me the worldview to understand my skills and equipped me to bring my unique gifts and abilities to do whatever job God places me in. I’m trying to do the particular job that God has gifted me to do, to think of the bigger picture of what leadership means in roles that I take on.
The CCO taught me about leadership development and that it matters what I believe about the people I work with. The CCO helped me figure out how to be collaborative and to believe that other people have something to offer that’s good and that contributes to success.
There’s a very individualistic, me-first work mentality in many workplaces; I hope I have different perspective to offer and model. I seek to maximize my influence over the organization, to make it a better place. I seek to mentor other people within the organization.
