There are two ways to take courses for credit—
Once you are an employee of the CCO, you can make the decision to begin your seminary education through this partnership. During the initial summer training program, everyone is involved in two classes: “Introduction to Worldviews” and “Vocation and Formation for Ministry.” New staff can receive credit for both of these. During subsequent years on staff, at least one seminary course is offered each May during the CCO’s annual Spring Institute. To remain active in the GCTS program, you must enroll in a minimum of one course each year.
SEMLINK also provides another convenient way to take courses year-round, either as self-paced independent studies or with other staff in a small learning group seminar setting. No more than 10 SEMLINK courses can be taken for credit for the Master of Divinity degree and a maximum of four can be taken towards the various Master of Arts programs.
Seminary Credit for Practical Ministry
The entire Mentored Ministry requirement of the Master of Divinity degree (six credits) can be fulfilled while you minister to students. You can make arrangements through the CCO Campus Ministry Resources Department to enroll for these credits.

Financial Information
CCO staff members benefit financially from this unique partnership because the cost is about half of the current GCTS on-campus tuition rate. Tuition costs are deducted from your Ministry Account according to an installment plan that provides additional benefits.
